Produce 10: Berries 4: Blackberries

 Hey all,

I'm not really a fan of blackberries but they are actually really good for you! It's usually the taste I don't care for because it is a tart tasting berry. Like many berries, they are full of health benefits!

The health benefits for blackberries are as follows:

They have lots of nutrients and are full of antioxidants

lowers inflammation and reduces risk of cancer

lots of vitamin C

vitamin K which is good for bone health

manganese, also good for bone health and preventing cell damage

has fiber which is good for you and also manages blood sugar levels

reduces chance of type 2 diabetes and heart disease

prevents buildup off plaque in arteries

good for preventing memory issues such as dementia
