Dollarama 2: Why Dollarama is Important in the higher cost of living era

I have covered Dollarama several times on my blog including a post about why I love Dollarama. It is one of my favorite stores! Like my Giant Tiger post that is upcoming, Dollarama is as important as Giant Tiger for saving money in a world where everything is so dang expensive! Dollarama doesn't usually have sales but it is important to note that several things are cheaper here than other stores.

Household items, especially cleaning supplies and general home goods like tea towels and gardening supplies are cheaper there for the most part and/or are budget friendly. It is important to have cleaning supplies as well as kitchen items and toiletries on the cheap, especially for those in apartment living, especially those who are freshly on their own for the first time. 

Groceries can also be affordable in Dollarama. Some of my favorite junk foods are generally cheaper there and there are also these chocolate chip bear cookies that are like a teddy gram that are only $1.25! They make a honey flavoured one too. Their Wonderbread prices are awesome, way better than Superstore for sure!

Plus if you need art supplies or even stationary items, Dollarama has a great selection of all of these things! I love their wide array of affordable tole paints!

If you need greeting cards, party supplies, pet stuff or even general hardware, Dollarama has a great selection of these things too. Lots of nice cheap artificial flowers for flower arrangements. They have awesome LED lightbulbs too that last a long time!

Dollarama is necessary for those on a budget, but even if you don't need to shop at Dollarama, it is quite a useful store! It has something for everyone!
