Trump and Censorship

 Hey all,

Trump is wreaking havoc in the U.S. He did during his first term, and now that he has been voted in for a second term during the most recent American election, he has wreaked even more havoc. Trump has a lot of supporters, even in Canada where I live. But he is doing a lot of bad things! It's actually enough bad things to write many blog posts on! This blog post will cover his censorship of anyone who tries to critique him!

There are many instances of Trump censoring those who disagree with him. He was always saying "fake news" during his first term, but now, Trump acts like he is God and do anything he wants, even if it is unconstitutional to do so! There is freedom of speech, but not according to Trump! Both Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert lost their jobs because they critiqued Trump. Trump wants to sue people who make fun of him!

This censorship from Trump even beyond the late night tv show hosts is quite dangerous. It infringes on the right to freedom of speech, but even more dangerous because the U.S. is becoming a dictatorship and under authoritarian rule. You must believe in what the President believes in or else! It is not safe for Americans to be under a President where you cannot express opinions. You are told what to do and you must do it or else!

Since starting this blog post over a few weeks ago, Jimmy Kimmel got his show back. It is dangerous to live in a way that is like George Orwell's 1984. The government should not control what you think! People need to have free will, we are not machines! We are not pawns in a game to be controlled! People also need free speech, to question whether something is right or wrong!
