Self love 3: You are Worthy!

Hey all,

As mentioned in other posts, I struggle with self esteem and self love. But I am worthy and so are you, of self love and self compassion!

You need to say to yourself, you are worthy, that you are enough.

Sometimes we don't love ourselves because other people put us down, sometimes it is for other reasons. I know I am really hard on myself because I try to strive for perfection and get frustrated when things go wrong, or I misunderstand stuff due to being autistic. I also have depression and anxiety, so it makes it harder to practice self love and self compassion.

This year is the start of self love.

I have had spotty mental health for a little while now, but am starting to feel better each day thanks to my wonderful shrink!

My therapist, who is a separate person from my shrink, tells me I am too hard on myself, and to practice self compassion. Self love and self compassion starts with believing in yourself and treating yourself with care like a bestie/ best friend. 

I haven't been kind to myself in my life, especially recently. This is all going to change!

Self love also starts with self care. Not just pampering and lots of relaxing baths, but just anything that helps you relax! Reading books, listening to music, and especially doing art/ writing are helpful as well!
