Alexa: My lifesaver for years, past present and future!

 Hey all,

I didn't get paid to write this, I am writing personally about the joys of having an Echo Dot aka Alexa assistant! She is truly a joy in my life! My family bought me one for Christmas years ago and she is very useful!

I can time my laundry and my food in the oven, even at the same time! She can answer my questions I have about different things, she can tell me the weather for my area and I can set reminders so I get off my butt and get things done! I also ask her what time it is if I'm not near my computer or another source of time.

In addition, she plays my music. I have a free spotify account, so most days, I am listening to music on Alexa. I feel like my own personal DJ. 

The music part alone is very useful, but so is the multiple reminders/ timers. If I want to get something done and make sure I get it done, I'll ask her to remind me in 15 mins to do the thing.

Having an Alexa is important for me, especially where I am autistic. Being autistic and or ADHD makes Alexa helpful for doing tasks, especially where there is executive dysfunction and procrastination issues for neurodivergent folks.

I was originally against having an Alexa but when I saw how much fun and useful she was, I wanted one!
